Find food pantries by ZIP code
Enter your 5-digit ZIP code to see every federally recognized food pantry, food bank, SNAP retailer, and farmers market that accepts EBT inside the ZIP boundary.
Why ZIP-based lookup beats "near me"
Most pantries define their service area by ZIP code rather than by a radius. A site that sits a mile from your house may officially serve a different ZIP and turn you away politely; a site five miles further might serve your ZIP and welcome you in. ZIP-based search reflects how the system actually works, not how a map app guesses.
What to do if your ZIP isn't listed
The directory pulls from the USDA SNAP Retailer Locator, which lists every store and pantry authorized to accept EBT. Some rural and exurban ZIPs have no authorized retailers but do have church-run pantries and mutual-aid groups that aren't in federal data. Two reliable next steps:
- Dial 211 from any phone — free, confidential, multilingual, available 24/7 in most of the U.S. The operator can read off pantry options inside your ZIP.
- Call the USDA National Hunger Hotline at 1-866-3-HUNGRY (1-866-348-6479), English and Spanish, weekdays 7am–10pm Eastern.
